Wolfgang puck

I had a fun and hectic shoot with Wolfgang Puck for The Hollywood Reporter a couple of weeks ago.  Along with what seemed like every other news outlet, I was invited to a sneak peak of what Wolfgang would be serving for the Oscars after-party. We wanted a shot of Wolfgang in his kitchen. Working kitchens are always tough: light bounces everywhere with all the stainless steel, floors are wet and slippery, and people are running around with knives and steaming pans. We had very little time to set up and shoot, as he was going from interview to interview. This is where amazing assistants really help. Wolfgang was great.  He had been up since 6 am, but still had loads of energy, took direction, and was fun to be around. Oh, and while I was retouching files, I noticed his hands; lots of cuts and burns: pretty standard for chefs but not CEO’s. Dude still cooks.
